Kettlebell Sport Ranking Table
The Kettlebell Sport Ranking Table is a list of the top kettlebell athletes in the world, based on their performances in international competitions. The table is maintained by the International Union of Kettlebell Sport Athletes (IUKSA), and is updated after every major competition.
The table includes the athlete’s name, country, total points scored, and ranking. The points are awarded based on the athlete’s placing in each event at a competition. The higher the finish, the more points are earned.
There are four main events in kettlebell sport: long cycle (jerk), biathlon (snatch + jerk), snatch, and clean & jerk. In each event, athletes compete against others in their weight class.
The rankings are determined by adding up an athlete’s best results from three different competitions over a two-year period. Only results from IUKSA-sanctioned competitions are used for the rankings; these include the World Championships, European Championships, Asian Championships, and American Open Cup.
If an athlete has competed in more than three competitions during the period, only their best three results will be counted towards their ranking score.
So what does it take to be ranked on the Kettlebell Sport Ranking Table? A lot of dedication to training and competing at a high level! But if you’re looking to get an idea of where you stand among other athletes in your weight class and division, check out the table below.
