Little Miami Youth Sports is a nonprofit organization that provides free sports for youth in the greater Cincinnati area. With a mission to “provide children with opportunities to learn, grow and develop through sports,” Little Miami has been providing athletic programs since 1972.

Introduction

Welcome to the world of Little Miami Youth Football! Here we will provide you with all the information you need to know about our 7th grade football team. We’ll tell you about our history, our successes, and what it takes to be a part of our team. We hope that after reading this, you’ll have a better understanding of what we’re all about and how we can help your child succeed in their football career.

History

The Little Miami Youth Football program was started in 1971 by a group of local parents who saw a need for a youth football program in the area. The first season consisted of four teams, with each team playing six games. Over the years, the program has grown and now consists of eight teams, with each team playing eight games. The program is open to all children in grades 3-8 who live in the Little Miami School District.

The Little Miami 7th Grade Football team won the Ohio Middle School Athletic Association state championship in 2016, 2017 and 2018. In 2019, they were runners-up. The team is coached by Jason Peters and consists of players from all three middle schools in the district – Loveland Middle School, Milford Junior High School and Clermont Northeastern Middle School.

The Little Miami Football team competes in Division II of the Ohio High School Athletic Association and plays its home games at Virgil Mears Stadium on the campus of Little Miami High School. The team has won two state championships (in 1987 and 1988) and has made nine appearances in the playoffs (1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1994).

Programs

The Little Miami Youth Football program is a great way for kids to get involved in the sport of football. The program is open to all 7th grade students who attend any of the Little Miami schools. The program includes two practices per week, as well as games on Saturdays.

Facilities

The Little Miami High School football team plays its home games on Memorial Field at Little Miami Stadium in Moraine, Ohio. The stadium has a capacity of 10,000 people and opened in 1967. It is the home of the Little Miami Panthers and also hosts the school’s track and field teams. The stadium underwent a $1 million renovation in 2006 that added new bleachers, a press box, and an artificial turf field.

Memorial Field was named after four alumni who died while serving in the Vietnam War. It is located adjacent to the high school and shares its parking lot with the school’s athletic complex. The complex includes a weight room, locker rooms, offices for coaches, and storage space for equipment.

The Little Miami Football Camp is held each summer on the campus of Little Miami High School. The camp is open to boys entering grades 3-8 and runs for two weeks in July.

Staff

The Little Miami youth football program is run by a group of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about helping young athletes develop their skills and love for the game. These volunteers include coaches, team parents, and other support personnel. Without these dedicated individuals, the program would not be possible.

The Little Miami 7th grade football team had a great season this year! The team finished with a record of 8-0-1, only allowing 6 points all season. This was an incredible accomplishment and the players and coaches should be very proud.

The Little Miami Football Camp is a great way for young athletes to improve their skills and learn from some of the best coaches in the area. The camp will be held from July 9-13, 2022 at the Little Miami High School stadium.

The Little Miami Alumni Association is a non-profit organization that exists to support the educational and athletic programs of the district, as well as provide scholarships for deserving students. 7th Grade Football:

The Little Miami 7th grade football team is a competitive squad that plays in the Greater Miami Valley Conference. Our goal is to develop young athletes into skilled football players and build character through teamwork, sportsmanship and discipline. We are committed to providing a positive experience for all participants and strive to instill a love for the game in each player.

Football Camp:

The Little Miami Football Camp is designed to teach campers the fundamentals of football while also promoting teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership. The camp will be held from July 5-8, 2022 at Heritage Oak Park in Loveland, Ohio. Campers will receive instruction from experienced coaches on both offensive and defensive skills.

Community
